I am left utterly heartbroken. Nobody Knowsis one of the most convincing films I have ever witnessed, making the events feel even more tragic. Director Hirokazu Kore-eda has an impressive filmography so far, and Nobody Knowsseems to fit right in. I am interested to see what else he has to offer, but if you have the chance, watch Nobody Knowsbefore it’s off of MUBI, as it really is worth the watch, and the heartache.

This is THE movie that has gently broken my heart by just looking at shots where the camera pauses for a few seconds to tell a story that will slowly dawn on you, on how heart shattering it is. This one is so grounded on reality, every second is a quite heartbreak.
