The Bourne Identity
Bourne Identity is a pretty good time. My girlfriend described it as an easy watch and she’s right, you can just sit back and enjoy the action. The film itself is very basic and pretty run of the mill, there are no twists or turns just pure action. As much as I did enjoy this it doesn’t really do anything special or interesting to make it stand out from the never ending films in this category, but it’s still a fun time.

“Look at this. Look at what they make you give.” THE BOURNE IDENTITY is a 00s action movie through and through. And I mean this in the best way possible. It’s got solid action, a low stakes personal plot, and Matt Damon being a star. Though “low stakes” here also means lack of emotional depth and only a handful of memorable action scenes. I don’t remember the rest of the films in this series so I’m looking forward to revisiting them as well. Also, for my money, Identityhas got to have the second best action sequence set to Oakenfield’s Ready, Steady, Go!—the first being Collateral, of course.
