Jarhead

Every movie Jake Gyllenhaal appears in is a masterpiece. P.S.: Why kill him, why!

Jarhead

most war films are uninteresting to me, and i’m afraid not even jake was enough to make jarheadan exception. the best part was jesus walks playing during the credits.

85/100 Soundtracks great. Your excited to get somewhere to do something and you never do it. Describes life tbh.

Jarhead

Con una perspectiva más cercana, Full metal Jacket, Jarhead no se encuentra con las emociones de sus personajes pero si con el día dia y realidad de estos, una perspectiva visualmente interesante de la Guerra del Golfo.

Jarhead

This was pretty meh to me. A long movie with the repeating theme that war is really bad and really fucked. This is stuff everyone knows. Gyllenhall was solid in this, but he couldn’t save the boredom I felt throughout. Fox was fine; I struggled a bit with his character. Also, this kinda makes the armed services look like scumbags (some of them at least which alrighty then). This movie is pretty hyped. I don’t know why. 5.5

Some great cinematography and one hell of soundtrack. Good performances all round, but never was 100% in it.
