You wasted a good potential here. You made a Lord of the Rings mashup with Star Wars-esque feeling that achieves nothing. You wasted a really FINE (which is always) RACHEL WEISZ. This is bullsh*t. It's all your fault FOX and director (which name is funny to me) who should stay in VFX and not EVEN direct a movie. This is an unique type of awful movie to me, and oh, boy, what a nostalgic turd.

this movie is bad we all already know that so i will give a funny anecdote instead: when the third book, brisingr, came out i was at the bookstore right after school. 4:00pm sharp. eldest had given child me one of the best endings to anything i’d ever read and i was ready for the last book. only…it wasn’t the last book and i didn’t realize paolini had decided to split the trilogy into a “cycle” until i got to the end of brisingr and blacked out when i saw inheritance would actually be the final entry. it pissed me off so much i asked my mom if i could return it. she didn’t let me. 4 years later i would finish the final book and became so consumed with rage i that stopped reading high fantasy books until college. all this to say: paolini is a hack and ed speelers is innocent. watch picard season 3
