High Fidelity
honestly would've rated this 2.5 stars but then the last 30 minutes saved it. bomb soundtrack too.
High Fidelity
digo tranquilamente que a série é mil vezes melhor (e nem é só pela minha mulher zoe kravitz)
High Fidelity
Lot's to unpack here. I loved Cusack's performance, Jack Black's performing Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye is amazing. I LOVE ALL OF THE NEEDLEDROPS from Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, The Velvet Undeground and etc. It's absolutely true that making a compilation tape or a playlist in this modern age is a very subtle art.

glad to know jack black has apparently always been jack black. he was pretty funny in this. but the main guy suckeddddd (which again i think some of my previous reviews and movies i’ve favorited show that i don’t necessarily mind that) but i was thinking that maybe he’d suddenly have an epiphany that he sucks or he’d get humbled in some way and unless i’m stupid and i missed something i don’t think that happened…? so that was conflicting. listen i’m in a bad mood i think so i’m a bit harsh on things. i say giving it my “Ehhh It Was Alright” rating okay listen there’s bonus points for decent soundtrack and kind of funny moments.
High Fidelity
this movie is awful but i love cathrine zeta-jones
High Fidelity
This man has my dream job, impeccable music taste, and gets visited by Bruce Springsteen in his dreams Masterpiece.
High Fidelity
The only two good things that I liked in this film were the soundtrack and Jack Black.
High Fidelity
Record, disc, and sleeve—a cave of life and sound, run by a man who admittedly has done nothing with his life; top five side-one-track-one lists don't really have anything to do with the trouble with love and relationship. Stephen Frear's High Fidelity is anything but an upbeat tale of romance—instead its nonetheless an uproarious delight, despite it being the tribulations that come with the remembrance of past relationships after one big break-up. In a way, the film delivers an ode and word to younger generations that are soon to grow old—it delves into the nostalgic era of first loves and first entertainments, whether good or bad, they're remembered. High Fidelity is of course an amusingly good time, especially with the faces of John Cusack and Jack Black on screen. Cusack absolutely sells the heartache and outrage and sincerity in his character, furnishing his best work to date. This is a film that gets almost everything right about relationships while being so remarkably elated with itself. 3.9/5
