Primo 90's dad film and one which is particularly enhanced when an actual dad is in attendance; who, having seen it numerous times already and just wanted to refresh his memory about parts of the plot, is too sleepy to finish and goes to bed even before the final heist. A peaceful paranoia to this one. That score resonates so well with the techie action. Batted about by Kingsley's accent(s), it's great

The sneaking sneaker sneaks; and, having snuck, moves on... A solid, silly, thoroughly 90's crypto n' paranoia kick-about in which every Cold War-addled midlife-character pretty much fits just so.

Bishop: "Give him head"? Whistler: "Be a beacon"? This is THE coolest and one of the funnier heist films there is. This is like Oceans 11 but cooler and have a more sexier cast. Like...Robert Redford AND Sidney Poitier in the same film? Along with River Phoenix, Dan Aykroyd, Ben Kingsley, Mary McDonnell, and THE James Earl Jones (among others)?? One of the many Dad Films™ I found to love. Really.
