Itโs hard to see why so many people think this is a classic. The story is silly and the connections between the four plots dont make much sense either. The acting isnโt good and the film just feels pointless. The costume design is by far the best thing.

I lied when I said Halloween is the quintessential Halloween film, since Trick โr Treat clearly is more deserving.

Night 31 of 31 Nights of Halloween Trick 'r Treat truly is the epitome of Halloween films. Taking literally every aspect that you enjoy about the holiday, turning it into a horror film, and making it fun is certainly difficult, but it seems so easy here. This film manages to bring the spirit of Fall year round, and while I will only enjoy this film on Halloween night now, it's still a film that could bring anyone to feel like they were watching it on Halloween night. This maze was incredible at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights this year, and watching the film again just solidifies how great that maze was. I love this film with all of my heart, and am beyond glad that I get to experience this film for another year. Happy Halloween!
