It's inarguable this series went at least 3 films too long. Shakycam sucks, acting's annoying at worst, merely bad at best, and its tie-in ending relating it to the shitty main story is ridiculous. The best thing for the genre was that there was only one other Paranormal Activity left after this, and if there's justice, the series stays dead
Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones
This one is more better than Next of Kin, and more Paranormal Activity, but still sometimes it don't feel like Paranormal Activity with the suspicious thing on cctv, this is pretty scary to me because it's like a found footage. He's actually become a superhero after getting the mark, he got the power, after watching this, i checked my body if there's any mark on it, and i got a bruise that i didn't know where it comes from, hmm.. This is why you need to listen to your family after you graduated, you searching a job, so you don't get bored and doing some evil stuff and get in into a horror crime scene and get possessed.

like with all of the paranormal activity movies the scares and horror are cool but the rest is just ok.

Whoever made this deserves a reward for making the best paranormal activity film. This felt like a culmination of all of the previous 4 films. This also felt fresh and original compared to the other ones. It added in a door that you can travel through which was pretty interesting especially the ending. This added so much to this franchise and I really enjoyed it. Weird how the past 3 films have all ended at the same house tho lol. Now speaking on the returning plots we get to see the return of Ali from 2 which was cool. But the big crazy thing is when Hector goes through the door and ends up in the first movie where then Micah gets killed because of him? I'm wondering if that's actually what happened in the first film.

they really gave us chronicle 2. him falling from the chair and being pissed off that the demon didn't catch him 😭 this and the first one will always be my favorites, they did such a great job making it look like a real home video. the dog scene was unnecessary but i love the different setting and characters

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones intenta aportar frescura a la saga al cambiar de escenario y presentar una nueva mitología dentro de su universo, pero termina siendo una de las entregas más flojas. La historia carece de coherencia y se siente dispersa, con sustos predecibles y un desarrollo que avanza sin una dirección clara. Solo en su tramo final logra ofrecer una propuesta interesante, conectando con la trama central de la franquicia, pero para entonces ya ha perdido gran parte de su impacto. Aunque busca diferenciarse, termina siendo una oportunidad desaprovechada dentro de la saga.
