In Too Deep

A clunky, but decent crime film. It was fun to see LL Cool J play the villain in this film, even though they portray him in a way where he is a bad guy, but also a beloved member of his community. Kind of like Bones did with Snoop Dogg. It has a star-studded cast, despite not all of them being "A" listers at the time. I wouldn't consider this a hidden gem, but it's never bad or boring. And, as with the case for a lot of these movies from the 90s. The soundtrack is excellent.
