Fuck yeah. I’m beginning to think that Paul Schrader may be one of my favorite filmmakers. His scripts are fucking great. Devane is perfect in this. Young Tommy Lee Jones is perfection in this one. Great final gunfight.

Of course Paul Schrader pen’d the script, didn’t know that while watching but everything make so much sense now. A tight little revenge thriller. Falters quite a bit in the back half, but the final 20-minutes? Aces.
