Well, well, well. Here we are. Finally making it through a full sitting of Fifty Shades of Grey. I've watched this film before, but that time I wasn't paying attention and missed nearly all of the film. With this viewing, I was able to fully pay attention to every aspect of the film, and in all honesty, it's not as bad of a film as you'd think it would be. It's a surprise to see that, while the characters are still a little underdeveloped, the film is surprisingly captivating. BDSM is something I know little of, but when you think of Fifty Shades of Grey, you think of something a little more extreme than what's portrayed here, making the film actually easier to watch during the sex scenes. Aside from the sex scenes, the film is beautifully shot and has one surprising soundtrack, one of the best modern soundtracks to have come out recently. Fifty Shades of Grey is far from perfect, but it's still not the horrible film that people make it out to be. I was surprisingly invested in the film and now am in preparation for the last film, Fifty Shades Freed.
