Solid watch. Love seeing coked up Ray Liotta. I was not prepared for seeing The Sopranos actors being here. Sly listening to The River and Robert Patrick having a porn-stache made this instantly a banger. This would go insane seeing this on cable.

72/100 I’m surprised I hadn’t even heard of this film despite it having such a stacked cast, like holy shit it’s truly stacked. My main concern with the film is the ending of course. The tone doesn’t match the rest of the film and also, the third act of this film starts very late and hence is paced very fast which is unfortunate for the film because it was quite great and exploring an excellent story and concept until that point.

Really great performance by Stallone. Some of the plot (ok, a LOT of the plot), stretches the bounds of credulity. But the universe and characters feel really and alive. Very well done.

So I loved this movie. WOW. First off I have to say, and this might be a hot take but… is this PEAK Ray Liotta??? Man he is fantastic in this. This movie has EVERYTHING, mustache Bobby DeNiro? CHECK. Coked up Liotta character? CHECK. Excellent Sly performance? CHECK. Solid Harvey Keitel? CHECK. And a dash of Janeane Garofalo? CHECK. What a stacked cast. Unbelievable group of actors together to make this one. And all of it behind the extremely talented James Mangold. Just excellent stuff all around here.

Ehhhhhhhhhh… I’m the sheriff here. Acting masterclass by Sly in this one (for him lol). This was a solid corrupt cop thriller with an all star cast. Even that hack De Niro was good in this. I wasn’t expecting much, but the plot was very solid and I was hooked throughout the movie. Action was good and seemed realistic enough. ACAB people probably cite this movie a lot haha. 7.8
