Honestly I liked this way more than I thought I would. It’s a bit lengthy but I think it uses the time well. The acting was pretty great and there’s some really funny moments. Just a pretty fun and enjoyable movie. Also. Yes this is a Halloween movie. Johnathan is scary and it takes place on Halloween night. 8/10

“Look I probably should have told you this before but you see... well... insanity runs in my family. It practically gallops.” Crazy ass film with Cary Grant on the edge of sanity (featuring his creepy and sinister aunts). What more can you ask, honestly? Will rewatch this on Halloween, most definitely.

"Even the cat's in on it..." Ya'know it's bad when the prolific author of incel grifter literature is the most sane member of the family... Wonderfully chaotic, hilarious, and stupendously silly in all the best ways; while still maintaining a darkly funny edge. The plot, performances, writing, and direction make for an absolutely delightful horror comedy. It's smart but doesn't take itself too seriously. With a full force ensemble that goes for 100% energy at every given opportunity. It's about family but also about murder and i think that's beautiful 💜
