Au Hasard Balthazar

You've heard about the phrase: A movie needs to be felt than understood? Well, this is not the case. Au hasard, Balthazar is actually an special piece of cellulouid that plays with the cruelness of mankind and the symbology of the nature of things (in this case, a donkey), in a really ambigious way. I DON'T even conected with mankind in this movie, but actually this have a lot of substance into the simpliest of things, i mean, poor Balthazar. Refined and sober narrative at finest. So... yeah, i expected not liking Bresson, but actually this was a revelation for me. I wish to read Dostoevsky's The Idiot.
