Bell, Book and Candle
My guilty pleasure I guess, because I loved everything about tjis witch story. Pyewacket is the coolest character, with James Stewart and Kim Novak also giving great performances. There chemistry is good, despite the 25 year old difference being somewhat off-putting. The silly story along with the strange atmosphere creates a unique feeling which has you hooked from the first scene. Simple yet brilliant.

"You don't really understand, Nicky. She's in love." "Wouldn't she rather be dead?" OH HELLNNAH IF IM A WITCH I AINT TURNING TRAD WIFE HUMAN FOR A CRUSTY MAN FUCK THAT SHIT!!!! LOVE AINT GOT SHIT ON MAGICAL POWERS 💢💢💢💢💢 nick is so me fr 💥💥💥 fuck love i wanna turn street lights on and off with my mind and watch weird French performance art in an astrology themed night club!!! Nevertheless i am obsessed with the colors and the aesthetics and the cat and everything Elsa Lanchester and Jack Lemmon are doing with their characters so this eats even if the ending is a bit cliche. (Also hello, same gripe as vertigo, read that review for more, but why were they trying to couple up this 25 year old with this 50 year old so bad its gross Hollywood is gross fr 😪) Bomus points for cute cat tho -(idk what that means about me in terms of moral compass age gap discourse as weighted against cute cat metrics but i digress...)
