Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
Fantastic performances, funny and an all round fantastic film. Crisis has to be one of the best plot points in cinema. Give us Birdman 4.

Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
2 horas de un drama en plano secuencia que transcurre en cuatro ambientes, es 100% diálogo y critica a hollywood. Might be goated
Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
o iñarritu deve ter ficado tão feliz com o declínio da indústria de filmes de super-heróis

Finding old-enough-Ed-Norton attractive is a canon event for a girl like me
Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
Birdman is a perfectly fine movie, but it didn’t strike me. Michael Keaton is certainly a leading man (which is why I gave The Founder (2016) five stars) and this is undeniably a star-studded cast. But despite the rising anxiety, the brilliant score, and well-executed single-shot cinematography, I just wasn’t invested in the story. I never quite felt the desperation or stakes the film seemed to be building toward. Something was missing - a certain je ne seis quoi. Perhaps it’s the way we started the movie or the confined setting. The Birdman alter-ego-devil-on-his-shoulder-inner-thought element also didn’t work for me. Used as a narrative device it felt more distracting than illuminating. Again, perfectly fine, but Oscar-winning?? I’m not totally convinced.
Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
First Iñárritu film and I picked a good film to start with Some really great performances from Keaton Norton and Stone and the cinematography had me constantly guessing how did they do that While the themes and character study are familiar to me, I still wanted to know everything and it doesn’t feel boring in the slightest Overall, a good best picture win if Grand Budapest Hotel didn’t come out the same year, but it did so…
Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
Having been released nearly 4 years ago, Birdman wouldn't seem to surprise me, but even to this day, this film still manages to take my breath away. There is something new that I am able to take from this film every time I watch it. It's a modern masterpiece and honestly is my favorite film of all time. I constantly bounce around with what my favorite film is, but this film has continued to keep on taking the spot, so it's about time to say that it truly is my favorite film of all time. I only wish that I could experience this film again in theaters, since seeing it once was simply not enough.
