Going My Way

One of the ugliest posters but a film I was pleasantly surprised by, Going My Way is not at all what I expected. It’s barely a ‘musical’ as there is very little music in it, not is it really a comedy as I didn’t laugh once. However, it’s an interesting film which for some strange reason had me hooked. The story isn’t exactly interesting when you talk about it, but the film works very well and the acting is pretty great all round. Bing Cosby is a legend and deserves more respect than he often gets. Sure, much of his filmography has been forgotten to time, but the man was incredibly talented. I really enjoyed this and was entertained throughout, despite not much happening throughout.
