Really enjoyed this. A simple yet effective watch which has much more than meets the surface. The acting is great and the story compelling, wish they’d dug a bit deeper though and maybe upped the suspense. Still, it’s a fun time.

movie’s ok tbh, but the poster is singlehandedly farming all the aura, like it’s actually so good and HOW are you david fucking bowie’s son and not use space oddity in a space movie lmao

GERTY is a master gaslighter.

Don’t think this held up as good compared to my first watch many years ago, but I still enjoyed it thanks to a compelling performance(s) from Rockwell and a score that I think is probably one of my favourite scores from any film, especially scifi. I do typically like nihilistic, bleak Sci-fi but this is a nice change with an ending that feels appropriate for the story’s messages. Again, the score of Moon is just so damn good. I’ve listened to the soundtrack when reading sci-fi/space books and it makes the experience 10x better - so watching this film again and hearing the music all over again is a nice feeling.
