Lesson learned; never fuck with an old Gypsy woman. Plenty of goofiness mixed with dark, fucked up shit in typical Raimi fashion.

Saw the unrated version Asides from the CG really looking fake, this is a full on Sam Raimi movie and I had the cheesiest grin on my face the entire time despite the film really REALLY hates its main character

When I tell you I had the best time with this film, I’m telling you I had THE best time watching it. Raimi back again with a unique horror film, filled with his typical nonsensical humor, with some punch-packing frights. It is such a fun film to watch, and I can’t believe that it took me this long to get to this film. I had attempted to watch this a few months back, but happened to have a fever, and I accounted the plot of the film to having the fever. I can definitely say that it wasn’t the fever talking, which makes this even more memorable of a film. Raimi really hasn’t had a dud yet, and I’m excited to get to the few films that I have left in his filmography.
