Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

“Tell her I am fine.” Enterprise…please…SAVE THE SOUL SOCIETY! No but for as…strange and…out-there as THE VOYAGE HOME is, I don’t believe it’s the worst one in the TOS film series. It’s well shot, the characters feel real and most important of all, there’s some heart here. It’s just that the time travel, save the whales plot…well. I don’t know exactly what they were thinking, but I will say that it feels like a one-off episode of the original series and for that, I can’t fault it. It’s also a stealth ending to the stealth trilogy they stuck in the middle of 6 films and that’s cool as hell when you think about it.
