Lovely Butterfly

Fairouz Hasan, a Palestinian filmmaker, embarks on an intimate journey to the heart of her memory via the letters she exchanged with her father, who was detained for years in Israeli prisons. Through the images, we watch the unfolding of the emotional and affective impact of this absence, and feel the psychological and political effects of imprisonment.
