The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
never gonna escape scene where he was eating himself from the hook,
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
When I think "sequels better than the original", this always comes to my mind first. Infinitely more fun and entertaining than the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
A cena que define o filme é quando a Rádio da Stretch toca o hino estadunidense após a mesma passar ao vivo a fita das primeiras vítimas do Leatherface no início do longa.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
Evil Dead 🤝 Texas Chainsaw Massacre (OG) Pioneering horror masterpieces, on a budget and with dubious distribution, becoming demented and deranged black comedies, without sacrificing their sensibilities, offering unrepeatable moments in their sagas. Also, Bubba having THAT fight with Lefty are top-notch, such a lord.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
Bold (and good decision) to twist everything of the original film and make it a comedy, but a good one, and (maybe the only) good companion to that masterpiece. #TheWrongHooperDied
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
Claramente hot take, pero recién estoy entrando en la saga y ver a todos siendo tan idiotas me saca de la imagen que estoy construyendo de la saga
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
Even though i do wish that this was more like the 1st movie with it more leaning on the disturbing side this was such a fun watch I loved it!! And it was the 80s so I can't blame them for changing things up. It really does take a while for them to add in more kills right after those 2 guys from the beginning but with how good i think the pacing was and how it builds up when we see Chop-Top and where Leatherface has been with Cook I'm not complaining. Probably the only gross scene for me was when Leatherface peals off L.G's skin 😭 I hate seeing that kind of stuff and Leatherface putting on his peeled face on Stretch was so fucking gross but I couldn't look away though idk why lol. But one that made me a bit more uncomfortable was when Chop-Top was picking at Stretch's scalp and having his grandpa taste her blood while trying to hit her. I'm already loving this franchise so far I hope the other movies are great as well, I always here some mixed reviews of them (from the 2010s-now apparently being their worst) but I am very excited to continue.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
too bad we never got to see chop top and nubbins in the same film
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 certainly is not its predecessor. Taking on an entirely different tone, this film goes for the lighter, still being as grim as the first film, but embracing the comedy and effects that the 80’s brought. It’s definitely a film from a differnet decade, but that makes it stand out even more. While it may not be as groundbreaking and iconic as the first film is, it’s still one hell of a fun film, which I found myself enjoying more and more as the film went along. It’s pretty unexpected after how dark the first one was, but in the end, it was entertaining as ever. (And who doesn’t love Dennis Hopper in a cowboy hat for the entire movie?)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
This movie was...entertaining in ways. I don't think it lived up to the hype I've seen circulate it, nor did it live up to the original film. It's almost a parody of the original, even hitting the same beats - however never as gruesome, dirty or fathomable. It doesn't even work as a "dark comedy" for me like I've seen it referred to as. I like aspects of this movie. I like the expanded story of the Sawyer family and how they preserve their dead family (including the Hitchhiker from the original which was a nice touch). I really liked the first jumpscare in the radio station. I like the crazy ass chainsaw wielding "lord of the harvest" Lefty. I sadly didn't like "Chop-Top" (I know that's a big horror lover sin). I just found him to be a more annoying replacement for the Hitchhiker. I do like his design and hope his spin-off "All American Massacre" gets released one day Overall, this sequel just wasn't my thing. I guess I should have expected that considering my love for the original. No sequel in this franchise (as far as I've seen) can top the gritty, dark, dirty and disturbing nature of the original
