The Way of the Gun

❝There's always free cheese in a mousetrap.❞ 𐄁─────⋆⁺‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧⁺⋆─────𐄁 Gritty and explosive, The Way of the Gun starts off pretty strong, but unfortunately loses steam by the halfway mark. It's carried by the performances of Ryan Phillippe and Benicio del Toro, who deliver both awesome action and some comedic lines which help to offset tension. I can't say that the film kept me fully engaged, especially towards the end which culminated in a shoot-out that almost made me go deaf; the script on the whole wasn't great, either. Overall, this film certainly has potential, but sadly it's never reached.
