Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore
Charmed by this! And always amazed with Scorsese’s pace through anything. Burstyn is beyond stellar. Ups and downs and saves grace with great bouts of humor and tragedy, keeping the levity of the film. A woman on the run from death and abuse, all with her son. Making ends meet. Humble. I am too much of the son and my love for my mother will go on as far as the hard valleys and red canyons go on in this film. We’re all looking to go out west, to make something of ourselves, but still and trying to love the ones that make us us.
Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore
Alice and the pursuit of happiness. The rawness of Alice character is something that I won't ever find again in another Scorsese's works.

What a diner. I really wish diners were still as popular as they once were. That was quite a joke told in the car… NOT. Was mighty confused at the beginning of the movie. Also, kind of a rough 35. I thought this was great. Was entertained the whole movie and thought the characters were top notch. One of his more under-appreciated movies I think. 8.1
