Well, it is right there in the title, I should've known where we were heading. Probably the most exhilarating "1/2 star" experience you'll find, though simple ratings rarely work on artifacts as these. Flailing in every direction, clamoring for targets, aiming to upset and relish in the disturbance, rifling through the previous 50 years of cultural offal+delight, which are often very close together.

Forbidden Zone

A tad sexist, racist, and a whole lotta what-the-fuck, its best to concede with saying that Forbidden Zone is the most awfully bizarre movie ever put together. And if that's what director Richard Elfman wanted, then he hit the hammer right on the head. The men portrayed are either sex frenzied slobs or The Devil's back up singers, and the woman are frankly either toys for the men or bodacious eye candy. Whatever gender, it isn't nice. And then there's a frog human thing. Each character is bonkers. Yet seeing a drugged up, almost 1920s silent film inspired midnight movie is wild and ticklish entertainment.
