the anger and frustration this movie gave me god. the world is so hard on women, they set up this system where women’s only purpose is to cater to men and to put them and their feelings first and in return they disrespect and hurt them over and over again. nike tried everything she can to bear a child bcs its what she wanted but most especially bcs its what she thinks her husband wanted and also because of the constant pressure she gets from her mother in law to the point that she slept with her husband’s brother bcs her mother in law said “its the same blood” and her husband does not want to go to the doctor. god women deserves better.
