Diary entries forThe Dark Knight
The Dark Knight
Everyone liked joker more than batman in this film and why not. The signature shot of joker was out of this whole universe. Can't believe Christopher Nolan directed a superhero film. This whole batman series were the masterpieces and no one can recreate it in any way. Because no one can recreate Christopher Nolan's masterpiece. No one can be more clumsy, fun and scary joker than Heath Ledger. Be peace upon him. What a legend!
The Dark Knight
nao achei isso tudo que a galera fala, é um bom filme e realmente o heath ledger como joker esta ABSURDO, ele é o real protagonista desse filme superestimado, mas é maneiro (bem melhor q o begins)
The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight
save me cbale bruce wayne saaaaave me
The Dark Knight
not enough scenes with cillian but heath's portrayal of the joker and chris being hot as fuck compensated
The Dark Knight
gotta give it to the joker he picked the right name that guy can be really funny
The Dark Knight
You either die a hero… or you live long enough to see yourself watch this for the 10th time.” Nolan’s The Dark Knight still feels like lightning in a bottle — a superhero movie disguised as a sprawling crime thriller. Heath Ledger’s Joker isn’t just iconic; he is chaos, a performance that still unsettles years later. The pacing rarely drags, the set pieces are unforgettable and amazing. Hans Zimmer’s score makes your heart race like it’s being interrogated by Batman himself. If there’s any flaw, it’s in the film trying to juggle a few too many moving parts in the final act, but when the highs are this high, who’s counting? A near‑perfect blockbuster that reminds us why Batman is the most compelling hero in the genre — and why Ledger’s Joker may never be topped.
The Dark Knight
lowkey watching this again, idk which one i like more, this or TDR. i feel like TDR has aged a bit better, and they both have great villains. i would say ledgers performance beats hardy’s clearly, but both are written very well. all in all, love both films. watching them again later tho, post The Batman, there’s something’s i overlooked previously , and also that i appreciate more in The Batman. still in my top superhero movies, and favorites out of everything
The Dark Knight
i love this movie. downloaded the imax cut and rewatched and it’s so beautiful. i think i haven’t seen it in its full ratio ever before. and i’ve loved this movie forever. this was the first movie i ever bought (on itunes like 12 years ago). crazy that it is 17 years old. one of my favorite scenes in a movie ever is the rachel and harvey debacle. the twist on the locations and how it motivates the rest of the movie is so good. batman standing on the ashes is what imax was made for. no notes. (except the batman voice. it is still slightly corny lol)
The Dark Knight
one of the best movies ever. yes. the dialogue is phenomenal (a nolan classic, idk to attribute this more to chris or jonathan) , less obviously expositional than batman begins. imax scenes look phenomenal truck flip chase is one of the greatest action sequences i’ve ever seen yes this is the point but it’s fun to say it - batman and dent are two sides of the same coin. again, it is very cool to see the films explore batman as a hero who is similar to the villains he goes as far to admitting that he creates. fighting has improved from first but is still one of the very few weaker aspects. rachel letter voiceover after her death is top 5 scenes for me of all time. again, the clarity on these imax shots is ridiculous , especially juxtaposed to the rest 😂 entire movie is an A but the imax are A+ with extra credit. incredible movie. i think anyone can enjoy this and that’s what makes it so great, but as a batman and superhero fan, it’s what takes it over the edge to be phenomenal. they don’t make movies like this no more!! (i have a version downloaded that is 4k and expands on the imax shots. this was not in theater, it was the 60 inch screen in my apartment. im still tagging as imax. as a format and less of an experience)
