that last line?? iconic as fuck. you know an 80s movie is about to be really good when corey feldman shows up. sammy was so funny he is what makes the movie so good. vampires worshipping jim morrison and the doors actually makes so much sense it should be canon in every vampire lore.

i guess this movie is fine but not as good as it's hyped up to be. i would have liked it a whole lot better if it just followed michael and "the lost boys". sam and the comic boys were not necessary. which im gonna guess is a very unpopular opinion. really wished i liked this movie more. i was looking forward to watching it and.... i mean i feel lied to. its called the lost boys but they were secondary characters to sam.

Note to self: keep a super soaker full of garlic-infused holy water on standby in case of vampires. Also, why was Corey Feldman talking like that? This gave me a sort of nostalgia vibe bc I grew up going to that Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk every summer where this was filmed. Too bad I never ran into any sexy vampire bikers, though.

The first film of my double feature today is "The Lost Boys," a film I've never seen and just so happened to be playing for $5 at Warehouse theaters. Talk about a steal! This thing ruled! It was mildly entertaining until the ending, where it just goes off the rails and shoots this thing up higher for me! Great soundtrack, everyone is hot as fuck, and the perfect amount of cheese! While I wish I could have seen this in the summer somehow, it works well enough for the spooky season! Great stuff! EDIT: Didn't get to achieve my double feature. Everyone in the auditorium for "Interview with the Vampire" wouldn't stop talking and I left 10 minutes in :(
