For something labeled as a thriller and horror, this one is seriously lackluster. There’s barely any tension, no real suspense, and even the kill scenes don’t land the way they should. Instead of pulling you in, it just kind of plays out like background noise with visuals. I get that it’s a low-budget film, but it doesn’t even try to work around that limitation. From the dialogue to the overall flow of the story, everything feels off, like you’re constantly left trying to piece together what the film is even going for. It ends up feeling more confusing than engaging. Which sucks, because the premise is actually pretty cool. There was potential here to do something interesting with the setting and concept, but most of the effort seems to have gone into the snowy forest backdrop and not much else.
