Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
❝The only thing a girl desires is someone who loves her like no one has ever been loved before.❞ ❝Yesterday, I saw her for the first time, and as I saw her, I fell in love immediately.❞ · · ───── ·⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆· ───── · · Going to the cinema with my uncle, aunt and sister to watch Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is one of my earliest memories. I don't understand much Hindi, so my little self obviously didn't really get what was happening most of the time, but the songs were awesome and I remember being transfixed by the beautiful colours (I also remember getting yelled at afterwards by my mum for having a KitKat when I wasn't supposed to eat chocolate). Now that I'm much older and can read subtitles, I absolutely love this film, from the fantastic acting to the engrossing story, not to mention the still-banging soundtrack. One thing that's always bothered me, though, is the disguise Surinder uses; maybe it's just me but when he's disguised as Raj he still looks the same, just with shades. I'm probably just thinking about it too much, but with that being said, I think this is my second-favourite Shah Rukh Khan film behind Om Shanti Om, and if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend checking it out.
