A little over a year ago, I had the chance to see Hello, Dolly! live on the stage, and finally got to experience it all over again with this film. I absolutely adore this musical, so it’s no surprise that I simply adore the film as well. Streisand embodies Dolly Levi completely, just as Carol Channing and Bette Midler have. It’s a show that I can listen to anytime and be put into a better mood, and this film will join alonside. Hello, Dolly! is a fantastic musical with beautiful costumes, great sets, and some stars that truly make it shine. I absolutely love this film, and can’t wait to see the show again.

Ahora entiendo el fanatismo de Fran Fine (The Nanny) por Barbra Streisand que hasta le robó la personalidad a este personaje. Lo gracioso es que Barbra odió hacer esta película.

It's so extravagant, at times unnecessarily so. Gene Kelly was like every dance scene and such is going to be ten minutes long or that is how it's going to feel like anyway. But the film is pretty, had a few laughs and ofc is overflowing with energy, so it's chill whatever. Barbara Streisand remains cool.
