Woman and man escaping from death. One from health, the other for murder. Trapped at sea. Great chemistry. Sparse lines. Punchlines that punch. ... 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴. ... Especially loved the gags from McHugh who add a lightness to the film. Reminds me a lot of Eddie Cantor in mannerisms, voice, and delivery. ... -𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘵 — 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘻𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺. 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭. -𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵. ... I repeat, if you think your film is too long, it is. So much entertainment is captured within these very few minutes. And most of the minutes is spent on title cards, perhaps when crowds were still flooding into seats for a grand picture like this. Babes, I love me the movin pictures!!!
