Of all the Rankin/Bass Holiday specials, this one stands at the very top. Rudolph comes close, but this has it beat in one key category; the music. The movie itself has also never looked better, thanks to the new 4K transfers the Universal has put out. The stop motion characters and background scenery really stand the test of time and look very lively. Truly a very fun Christmas movie.
