Three O'Clock High
A regular high school kid is challenged to a fight at three o'clock in this high school comedy of painless and playful entertainment. Bring ya brass knuckles, because this bully is the epitome of exactly who you don't want to get into a fist fight with in high school. Despite its fun premise, Three O'Clock High doesn't do a lot to separate itself from other identical coming-of-age flicks of the 1980s—instead it provides less charm than its peers, and its final act fight isn't a good enough excuse to sit through one kid's whimsical stress at school. Nothing is remotely original or fun for that matter; in fact, its protagonist is rather uninteresting, despite his occasional moments of appropriate humor. Three O'Clock High does have a good soundtrack, though—and even if it doesn't fit the film that well, Tangerine Dream still keep a tasty set of audio intact. 2.5/5
