While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel 40 ACRES is a solid post apocalyptic action thriller. Danielle Deadwyler continues to be a fantastic and compelling screen presence, pretty sure she can do anything. Some cool action sequences help with the pacing which sometimes is a bit plodding.
