i started watching this movie in april but it lost my interest, i said i'd go back and finish it later, after watching today's Dead Meat Kill Count i did just that. Mr. Crocket is a great horror villain. such a good and creepy performance. i liked it more this second viewing and i also think it would be a decent intro horror film for some.

It feels good to watch a full film again. This film has been on my watchlist for like 2 years. I decided to finally watch it. I don't mind that I waited this long. The idea around this was very unique. A kids cartoon turned horror? With a poltergeist tv type vibe? Sounds good right? Well this could've been better. The beginning of this was enjoyable for the most part. Seeing the different parents and kids situations. That opening scene might be the best part of this film ngl. This did have pretty good horror aspects to it. Even if a lot of it was just weird. But towards the big build up end it kinda falls a little. It adds in this other random guy who is supposed to be important then makes a big twist with him at the end. Like I honestly didn't care for the Anthony guy or whatever his name was. Then it makes Mr. Crocket be some like demon human?! Like I don't even know. They say he's in hell, but he can enter the earth and he's also human?! Like what that makes no sense to me. It also leaves the explanation in the wind. The actors carried this hard though for me. Elvis Nolasco was amazing as Mr.Crocket. He made the character a lot more enjoyable. Most of the kid actors were surprisingly good as well. I liked the animation bit it did towards the end until it turned weird. I also like the whole TV kids cartoon part. The song is kinda catchy. The kills looked good though with the effects. Most of this was pretty weird and sometimes didnt make sense. But I can appreciate the uniqueness and horror aspects. A pretty average horror movie. Reading this back i didn't even mean to make the review this long. Especially for an 80 min movie lol.

Mr. Crocker is just misunderstood. He is so kind. He was so done with parents ðŸ˜
