So much fun. I swear my seat was shaking half the time. The visuals are nuts and the sound makes you feel every hit. Kinda wish we got more story or character work, but the chaos is too fun to complain about. That Predator face though… nightmare fuel.

This was a fun time. Elle Fanning was fantastic as the lead role as she always is, and the whole thing feels like a proper blockbuster instead of a knock off, which is what many other predator films of old have struggled with. The story is simple in concept but done well and the ending is fantastic, I can’t wait to see where Dan Trachtenberg takes the franchise but this feels like just the beginning.

If not the best Predator film in the franchise, certainly the most endearing. An infectious glow from the first moment Elle Fanning takes the screen, and it never lets up. Trachtenberg has only taken bold swings with the franchise, and in my opinion it's now solidly surpassed Alien in terms of outstanding entries because of those bold swings and because of him; whatever he wants to do next, with these characters or with this brand, let him

Eu nunca fui muito fã do universo de Predator, mas confesso que depois dessa obra de arte me deu muita vontade de assistir os outros filmes, fui vê-lo no cinema sem nem ter visto trailer muito menos sinopse, e simplesmente sai da sala com aquela sensação de "como eu nunca vi isso antes na vida", é uma sensação meio louca de se explicar, mas gostei muito do filme, cinematografa boa, atuação boa, historia cativante.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Dan Trachtenberg just GETS IT. A continuation of the breath of fresh air known as the “Trachtenberg era” of the Predator franchise; such phenomenal visuals, storytelling, fight choreography, lore expansion, VFX, and performances all cooked into a scrumptious feast for the senses. Absolutely frothing at the mouth for more Predator/Alien content, PLEASE SIR, MAY I HAVE SOME MORE?! Intrusive thought: good to know even the Yautja are terrified of their mother’s wrath

I walked in with my expectations already dialed up pretty high, but I was genuinely surprised by a film that absolutely shattered them. What a banger. Elle Fanning is just brilliant, pulling off two distinct roles and excelling in both. The film operates at a relentless, frenetic pace that is just electric, all underscored by an outstanding soundtrack that fits perfectly. Predator: Badlands knows exactly what it is, and that cliffhanger at the end is just the perfect, brutal setup. I desperately want more.
