The Truth vs. Alex Jones
Harrowing at times, upsetting at so many others. The weight and gravity of Sandy Hook and how it has so totally dominated the lives of the parents and family who lost loved ones in this senseless act. It’s surprising in some respects that this was only two hours, subjects with less to talk about are routinely turned into 4+ hour limited series. Jones is a pathological liar, insane narcissist, and if you take him at his word, a murderer. He’s dishonest, knowingly. The doc of course shows this, but it would’ve been helpful to get a real total refutation of him, and while the doc tries, there’s so much to cover. That said, I appreciate how much time we spent with the families. It’s important for them to share what occurred and how it effected them, hopefully other families in the future (disgusting that it’s a when, not if) will not be subjected to such disgusting behavior.
