Night 29 of 31 Nights of Halloween 9 is a film I've been meaning to watch for a very long time. Having seen the trailers when it first came out, I knew that it was a film that I was dying to see. Eventually, I forgot that this film actually existed, and up until recently, I had no want to watch. But my roommate found the blu-ray for the film and decided to buy it, and I decided it was time to finally watch the film. Altogether, the film was a letdown. I had really high expectations for it, which may be due to the length of time I've been waiting to watch it, but it really wasn't what I was thinking it was going to be. I was expecting a horror film, but that's not really what it is. It's a typical apocalyptic story, just with small humaniods, rather than actual humans. I honestly didn't care much for the characters, I didn't get attached to anybody, so any deaths that occurred didn't faze me. Maybe it was the animation style, but I really just didn't enjoy how the film looked, and wasn't a fan of the general plot. It's a fine film that many people love, but I really just am not the biggest fan out there. It's sad to see that I didn't enjoy the film as much as I hoped I was going to, since this is a film I've been waiting years to finally watch.

School Movie Club: #9 (https://boxd.it/rTvb4/detail) It’s fine. The ending is beautiful but other than that it just wasn’t interesting to me. I kinda liked the post-apocalyptic world that they had but at the same time it felt small and underdeveloped. The entire first half of the movie is just characters seeing other characters and saying “Oh wow you are still alive? You were here this whole time? Oh my god!”. It got very repetitive. 6/10

Way more enjoyable (and creepy) than what I was expecting.
