It’s wild to think the Clone Wars series started off so rocky, but thankfully both plot and animation really took off to create a thriving world, rather than the shell that The Clone Warsends up being.

As someone who has just recently gotten into Star Wars and enjoys The Clone Wars series, this movie was a big letdown. It feels more like an extended pilot episode than a proper film, and not in a good way. The animation is rough, the pacing is clunky, and the story just doesn’t carry much weight. Thank GOD for the show What’s most disappointing for me is Ahsoka. Knowing how fantastic her character becomes later in the series, it’s kind of painful to watch her here. She’s overly snarky, extremely annoying, and lacks the depth or charm that makes her such a standout in the franchise. I get that this was her introduction, but it doesn’t do her justice at all.
