The acting in this movie is just next level! Seriously, everyone, even the kid, nailed it. The way it’s written feels so real and personal, making it way more emotional than I expected.

Heartbreaking in many ways, Kramer Vs Kramer showcases injustices in how the courts blatantly favour mothers over farthest. It further shows how painful relationships can be and become. It’s an excellent film with a nice ending, it’s pretty unbelievable how real the whole thing feels as well. It stops feeling like a movie and more like an insight into these real peoples lives, which is a testament to how good the film is.

Las actuaciones son muy buenas, creo que está muy bien dirigida y visualmente me gusta, pero siento que faltó ver un poco más del desarrollo del personaje de Meryl Streep. Fuera de eso creo que funciona bien y logró moverme bastante en varias ocasiones.

This is one film that knows how to exhibit the most conventional of plot and turn it into a compelling piece of drama. Robert Benton's Kramer vs. Kramer skips right to the divorce and lets the fantastic performances do the talking; Meryl Streep's character is essentially the opponent to the film's protagonist, yet her strong and sympathetic performance brings such understanding and insight into her side of the story. There's no intense fights or yelling between the film's parents—the design is simple. On the outside it's virtually the tale of a soap drama, and that's one thing that holds the film down—but, like all good movies, the performances are the best things about them, and with the trio of ones here, it is very much OK. Kramer vs. Kramer holds an unbelievable set of larger-than-life portrayals that make each moment a fantastic source of realistic cinema—which is essentially what this film is about. 3.9/5

Am I watching a movie? It feel so real. Can I say that Kramer vs. Kramer is my new comfort movie? Coz I'm so moving with the father-boy relationship and all the conflicts here. P.S. Just realized that I'm already watched 3 marriage-life movies (almost in a row) and all of them are divorce. Is it normal?
