"can you see it?" "yes" "Isn't it beautiful?" "oh yes" "I told you" "how could I know? How could I... how could I ever imagine?" I hope by the time that I'm old enough to sign up for the sci fi euthanasia of the future they have the technology to show me some surround sound nostalgic tik tok brain rot before i go 🫡 Also i cried bc that montage w/ the classical music was genuinely so beautiful in a way i didn't expect to hit me so hard Shirl got that Physiological Needs rizz fr fr (the women characters could have been developed better but ig it was the 70s or whatev and the main dude gotta be all matcho, domineering, and desirable and shit 🙄) All in all the craziest how it's made episode I've ever seen.

A series of barely connected vignettes that culminate in the two most famous ones: Sol Goes Home and the ending. those two alone were enough to raise it a half star, from the blocking and framing to the emotions they both pulled out of me. Probably wouldn’t rewatch but if it was showing at a theater I’d go!
