Following up the best one in the series with the worst one, and ending it on a cliffhanger so nobody even trusts you with your one good promise all build of "at least this will be the last one" Only my lowest-rated post of the day because I deleted my other one rather than even give a certain franchise anymore of my breath or attention than it deserves (free Palestine btw. justice for Melissa Barrera forever)

Night 30 of 31 Nights of Halloween I thought this was supposed to be the final film in the series, but guess we’re in store for at least one more film? It ends in such a vague way that, naturally, we’d have at least one more entry to finish out the series. And if this were the final film, I’d honestly be a bit disappointed, since it wasn’t as strong as their last entry Origins: The Carmichael Manor was. The decision to ditch the found footage style felt like a bizarre move, since it easily could have been told in the same format as the rest of the series. The scares are pretty effective, but again, isn’t anything when compared to the last film. I still had a good time, and it’s interesting to see some deeper lore told, but I really hope to see at least one more film so we can get a solid conclusion to this series.
