Whistle
This film only truly lives when the death is near.

I can’t deny it, this film has one of the most creative death scenes I’ve seen in a while. I was honestly too curious about how Corin Hardy would pull off the next death sequence to even care about how unbearable most of the characters were. That’s really where the story shines. Each setup feels inventive enough to keep you hooked, even when the story itself starts to fall apart. While it begins with a fresh energy, it slowly leans into more familiar territory. By the end, it starts to feel like another Final Destination-type film, relying more on the deaths than the buildup.
