I love a ridiculous crime thriller, and this is fucking ludicrous. The cast (well, Pitt, Gosling, and Bullock at least) are all too good for this material. But hey, it’s not boring. And if you’re looking for something to scratch that particular crime thriller itch, you could do worse. You could also do a lot better.
