Diary entries forLand of the Dead
Land of the Dead
Maybe I would've been more dismissive at some earlier time, but I don't know... spending these last couple nights with Romero's bloodied and boiling worlds, he was out there being earnest and still having a ball doing it. More variations on a theme that's seemingly been played out, but it's a sandbox he was responsible for and it's still worth kickin' around in.
Land of the Dead
Land Of The Dead is so much better than Zack Snyder's shitty 2004 Dawn Of The dead Remake and yet i haven't seen anyone talk about it. how does this one have a lower rating????
Land of the Dead
Definitely my least favorite of Romero’s zombie films, but I still had a fun time. Solid practical effects but ugly CGI, interesting ideas but they don’t feel fully fleshed out here. John Leguizamo has the best performance imo, but I also love when the zombies fight back with the guns which builds off Bub from Day of the Dead.
Land of the Dead
"Nah, I always wanted to see how the other half lives."
Land of the Dead
This was very different from my expectations. I could not care less about all that government crap. However this was very interesting. It's intriguing to see the zombies becoming more intelligent. The main characters this time around were pretty meh. I would say I liked Charlie the most. The zombies However are probably the best version this franchise has had so far. They look amazing especially with the more realistic effects. The coolest one is Big daddy (yes that's actually his name). The gore/blood in this is just as crazy as Day of the dead. I never thought these films would be so graphic lmao.
