My last viewing of Get Smart was years ago, making this feel like it was the first time I was watching the film. There were moments that were funny, but others that were dull and awkward, really making the film feel uneven. Carrell and Hathaway were great together, but everyone else really wasn't memorable enough to make a difference. Get Smart was a film I loved years ago, and still hold close to my heart, but I now realize it's not the comedy that I once knew and loved.

❝Well, that is a sucker punch to the gonads.❞ ⊱ ────── {⋆⌘⋆} ────── ⊰ Get Smart may not be anything original, but it is a good time. The cinematography isn't anything mind-blowing, and the visuals could use some work, but Steve Carrell is great and paired well with Anne Hathaway. It's the kind of film to watch when you want something light-hearted to switch your brain off to.
