Was not emotionally prepared for how hard this movie swerved. Somewhere in the middle it just… changes. The last act kept me tense, and the ending score sealed the deal. Thought it’d be a chill watch. It wasn’t. I liked it.

Look how they're still raving on every situation, music is the way you heal or maybe you could get killed because of that. How can searching someone missing could be a ravy and thrilling adventure, many unexpected things come and it makes me gagged, btw this movie could win A Best Soundtrack from Oscar, cuz i feel the vibe, cool soundtrack, should watch it at cinema for better experience. Anyway i hope my country would remake this movie, cuz we had the same like this called "Sound Horeg" it must be so dope and packed up the cinema @PH Indonesia, ayo remake film ini dengan sound horeg!

Darn it, Sirat! Coming across someone give this five stars, I was hoping for a five-star experience myself, but I was left underwhelmed. The film doesn’t seem interested in developing its story well or giving the characters much nuance. Perhaps that’s intentional, but without it you’re left with nearly two hours of thumping sound, little emotional attachment, and what feels like cheap third act surprises. To echo what many others have said, the sound and set design are strong and the execution is competent. But the story simply isn’t. And if the story doesn’t work, the film doesn’t either. It’s not god awful so I don’t give it a 1 star, but it’s really a stretch giving it 2 stars.

this is how I feel about parents who discover their children are into Sound Horeg (Indonesian version of rave) but on serious note: sound mixing are on another level, the story is packed with every turns are unexpected and leave you grip to the chair and say NO to the screen quietly
