not him using catholic guilt on them, lmao!! and pls, the part where bruno said he means more to him made me tear up a lot! mi familia... i loved how they portrayed how starting a business is hard and how ppl will try to not support (and will even try to sabotage), as that's what happened to my grandpa's and some of our friends' businesses before. i also watched this at midnight and when i finished this film, i watched a bunch of videos on youtube and read articles about the restaurant. traveling to nyc and going to their restaurant is definitely included on my bucket list now! i wish the nonnas good health.

But if you want great food that not only fills your stomach, but will lift your soul; then run, don't walk, to a little slice of family where you can let that one who loved you most in life to cook for you again.” Yeah...heartwarming films are my kind of alley. I cried at this, guys. And I love it. The love of food and family are just felt in this film, and I appreciate it more than ever. Great watch really. Just...*chef's kiss* 🥺. The soundtrack too?? It is as Italian as you can get with this film (will be listening to some of it, too). I'm glad the restaurant is still open, too! Maybe one day I'll get to visit it. I really hope I do.
