The daring script and engaging start kept me hooked until the middle, but the ending didn’t quite hit the mark. Still, it was enjoyable thanks to the eerie atmosphere and the unsettling dialogue, though I was hoping for a more intense conclusion.

"Quanto mais você sabe,menos você sabe." Espetacular em tudo,senti angústia por sister barnes e paxton o tempo todo e minha nossa,hugh grant nesse filme foi definitivamente algo para mim. Sophie Thatcher então nem se fale! simplesmente linda e divina,como sempre. Não sei se estou certa,mas os últimos minutos me fizeram pensar se sister paxton realmente escapou, sabe? ou se aquilo foi o cérebro dela criando uma ilusão,assim como foi dito no filme por mr reed. Acho que era a intenção...? enfim, esplêndido.

Firstly Hugh Grant was exceptional in this, regardless of how I felt about the movie. It felt slow in some parts as the movie is very dialogue focused but if you enjoy that I think this is on top in that particular regard. And to be honest it is a movie that genuinely made me think about the things being spoken about which I won’t spoil but I will say that in it self is very rare to have a movie that makes you ponder an idea.

Interesting concept, poor ending, I get what it was trying to do but didn’t really work for me at all. Thought the whole thing got a bit silly but enjoyed Hugh Grants performance. Not the worst horror film but far from amazing.

Não ironicamente o começo dele parece que vai ser um suspense com doses de comédia e até começa assim, a discussão sem contexto da relação de uma cena de porno com a existência de Deus é incrível e todo o suspense e desconfiança sobre o personagem do Hugh Grant na primeira metade é muito bom e na virada da desconfiança pra certeza tem um elemento sobrenatural que é, como tudo nesse filme, uma grande armação. O dinamismo da direção, as atuações, a decupagem que transformam a casa real em uma armadilha giganta são interessantes, mas o discurso religioso questionador quer abordar várias vertentes indo de teorias da conspiração sobre Matrix e um papo bem razo sobre "controle" que tem a mesma profundidade de uma thread do Twitter de crente vs ateu. É um filme que vai murchando conforme a progressão avança. Mirou no cinema questionador e frontal do Clint Eastwood e acerto em Deus Não Está Morto só que bem feito. A melhor coisa é a relação de Jar Jar Binks com Jesus, não vou elaborar!
